Community Therapist - Contract position (1099)

RESPONSIBILITIES (UNDER DIRECT SUPERVISION OF CLINICAL DIRECTOR):
* Provide community based treatment to AQCS clients with complex clinical, social and educational problems. Services are delivered in homes, neighborhoods, schools and communities. Emphasis is on promoting behavioral change in the client’s natural environment.
* To provide a variety of treatment services including individual, group, family, and marital therapy.
* To provide clinical services such as intake/diagnostic evaluations, case evaluations, and crisis intervention.
* To participate in liaison work with other agencies as required.
* To participate as a member in all required interdisciplinary treatment team.
* To participate in regularly scheduled clinical supervision.
* To maintain clinical records in accordance with insurance regulations and established clinic policies and procedures.
* To comply with clinical productivity standards as established by Atlanta Quality Care Solutions.
* To participate in required monthly staff meetings.
* To be available for after-hours telephone contact for clients in crisis.
* To participate in rotating backup clinical support via on-call cell phone rotation schedule.
* To perform other duties as assigned.
* Stay abreast of best practices, as well as, all policy changes related to site maintenance.
* Attend weekly staff meetings, Leadership Team Meetings and monthly ALL Staff meeting (as needed).
* Submit thorough “Employee Status Report” each week during Leadership Team Meeting.
* Maintain strictest confidentiality; adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Master’s Degree from accredited college or university in clinical psychology, counseling or a related field
* Licensed professional as either: LPC, LAPC, LMFT, LCSW; not required but strongly preferred
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing CORE services.
* Advanced knowledge of clinical social work and mental health counseling principles, methods, procedures and standards
* Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with consumers, families, service providers and colleagues.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Paraprofessional - Contract position (1099)
Responsibilities:
* Reviews clinical need with the client and if applicable, family members (i.e. monitoring of symptoms, advocacy services, linkage to services)
* Prioritize intervention needs
* Coordination of services both within and outside AQCS (i.e. counseling, medication management, welfare, vocational services)
* Establishment of contacts within community resources
* Provision of referral to additional treatment services
* Monitor, evaluate and record client progress with respect to treatment goals
* Assist in treatment plan reviews
* Participate in weekly clinical staffing and present any pertinent information regarding client care and progress or blockages toward treatment goals
* Patient education
* Assist with problem solving
* Assists clients with linkage to needed services
* Attend training as required by agency and licensure, if applicable
* Keep all required documentation current and submit on a weekly basis
* Provide transportation as need for clients
* Follows appropriate chain of command
* To perform other duties as assigned.

* Assist with BHL intakes (as needed)
* Maintain a case load of 25-35 individuals

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university in related field strongly preferred.
* Excellent time management, organizational, self-motivation and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of billing and financial concepts.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Strong communication and critical thinking skills. This includes the ability to read documentation for accuracy, work with abstract information and formulate action plans.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel required).
WHAM Specialist

Atlanta Quality Care Solutions, LLC is currently seeking multiple Part- Time Community WHAM Specialist.
​
Atlanta Quality Care Solutions is a growing community based mental health provider that service the Children/Adolescents and Adult population. AQCS is seeking a Community WHAM Specialist to provide structured activities that promote socialization, recovery, wellness, self-advocacy, development of natural supports, and maintenance of community living skills in the community setting. Activities are provided between and among individuals who have common issues and needs, are consumer motivated, initiated and/or managed, and assist individuals in living as independently as possible.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be able to work in an unstructured environment
* Must have a basic understanding of EHR systems
* Current Certified Peer Specialist
* Must have great critical thinking skills, great writing skills and a drive to be effective in the treatment of client life.
* Experiences with in the mental health field population.
* BIRP documentation experience (Goals Intervention, Response, Plan) is a plus.
* Certified WHAM Specialist
* High school diploma/equivalent
* Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
